Job Description:
Performs advanced substance abuse and mental health counseling work with adolescents and families in individual, group, or family therapy settings; assists the Clinical Supervisor or Administrator to maintain an effective and efficient service delivery system. Responsible for supervision of counseling staff and treatment services as assigned and assisting in a broad range of staff training and development activities, including caseload consultation.
Required Skills:
Therapist must possess full competency in the following eight practice dimensions:
- Clinical Evaluation
- Treatment Planning
- Referral
- Service Coordination
- Counseling Education
- Client, Family and Community Education
- Documentation and Professional and Ethical Responsibilities.
- Must also possess age specific knowledge and competencies applicable to juveniles served.
Required Experience
Requires Masters Degree in Counseling or a directly related field plus a minimum of three years direct service experience. Must have a valid LMHC, LCSW or LMFT. A CAP is also preferred.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Benefits begin after 90 days of initial hire for full time employees
Time off-Operation PAR utilizes PTO (Paid Time Off).
This is designed to provide flexibility to meet the employee's needs.
Accrual begins on the first day of employment, but is not available during the Trial Employment Period
Tuition, Credentialing & Licensing Reimbursement
Operation PAR provides educational, credentialing & licensing assistance. All full time employees are eligible after completing one full year of continuous employment.
Insurance Benefits- Medical, Dental and Vision
Health Insurance is provided by United Health Care. Operation PAR pays 80% of this benefit to it's employees.
Dental & Vision Insurance is provided through Guardian at minimal cost to the employee. There are several plans to choose from.
