Position Description:
This position is responsible for Desktop Services at corporate headquarters. This position will: ensure IT programs and policies are followed using approved methodology; manage team projects and costs; ensure effective communication with management; customers and suppliers; provide direction, training and guidance for team members; provide strategic planning and direction; develop staff and make budget decisions.
This position requires a strong background in project management. Strategic projects include single image, single sign-on and SMS deployment.
The successful candidate will be able to lead multiple projects and staff, have excellent technical analysis and project management skills, be able to support a variety of technologies, business departments and systems, and independently resolve problems, pro-actively communicate, and manage projects with little supervision.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in a computer related field is required. A minimum of 8 years of experience is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Project management experience and/or certification.
Preferred technical experience includes:
• Microsoft Active Directory management
• Group policies
• Single image
• Single sign-on
• SMS
• Software packaging
• Anti-virus (McAfee preferred)
