Job Summary
Ensure that production is met to satisfy contractual commitments. Plan and facilitate work of assigned employees. Increase the synergies and employ the knowledge of plant teams.
Job Responsibilities
1. Support teams as required.
2. Maintain a positive working attitude and environment.
3. Ensure that policies, procedures, and bargaining unit agreement requirements are satisfied.
4. Willingness to accept and delegate authority.
5. Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures.
6. Focus on product quality and process control.
7. Perform ''make'' versus ''buy'' analysis.
8. Interview, appraise and discipline employees. Acknowledge team accomplishments.
9. Support material shortages.
10. Support machine and equipment repairs.
11. Report and respond to product and process nonconformance issues. Implement effective corrective actions utilizing structured planning methods.
12. Support housekeeping and safety of work areas.
13. Understand and support the Continuous Improvement Plan.
14. Participate in the resolution of grievances.
15. Must be willing to complete additional advanced training/education courses as required.
16. Create and maintain budgets, approve expenditures, and manage operations within budgets.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field. 4-6 years related experience.
Preferred Qualification
Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Lotus Notes E-mail, and JD Edwards experience will be desired within six months in this position.
