Job Summary
Provide technical assistance, retrofits, warranty repairs, training and product information on all OTC vehicles in the field, U.S. and international Communicate with customers, dealers, and fellow employees to get service and parts expedited to the customer's satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for OTC vehicles, tools, equipment and rental vehicles.
2. Provide field support to military and commercial customers, according to company policy.
3. Deliver, train and inspect new vehicles on-site. Inspect completed repair work.
4. Diagnose and repair problems and provide failure analysis on a follow-up service report.
5. Communicate courtesy to customers.
6. Instruct operators and customers with correct operation and maintenance schedules.
7. Assist Service and Parts Coordinators on technical questions on OTC vehicles, components and systems.
8. Prepare general paperwork, service reports, expense reports according to OTC guidelines.
9. Knowledge on current new systems, components and product lines.
10. Travel to other regions to perform service support as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in Automotive Mechanics or related. 3-7 years related experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with customers, dealers and employees.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Some heavy lifting may be required and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and small tools. This job requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, and sitting.
