Job Summary
Manage, control, monitor and maintain cost, schedule and performance requirements and objectives under assigned government programs/contracts related to aftermarket parts and service contracts.
Job Responsibilities
1. Manage, assign and supervise the work of others.
2. Train and mentor subordinates in areas of contract or program management.
3. Assist in hiring decisions within the Defense group.
4. Perform formal personnel performance reviews.
5. Organize and perform administrative and management functions required for timely and compliant contract performance.
6. Submit and negotiate proposals for new business and contract changes.
7. Work in liaison with corporate departments to avoid and resolve all program issues and problems.
8. Track, analyze and review reports to ensure that costs, schedule, and performance under assigned government programs are being controlled and managed within established guidelines.
9. Prepare additional data and/or correspondence as may be required by corporate management.
10. Present an aggressive professional image of OTC to agencies of the U.S. and foreign governments.
11. Principle point of contact for all program or contract management related matters on assigned programs.
12. Assist in identifying new business opportunities.
13. Research and identify contracting methodologies that meet current Government regulations.
14. Identify and recommend pricing methodologies for contracts and proposals.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; Master's degree preferred. 8-10 years experience in contract/program management. Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail. Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance. Requires occasional travel to war risk zone countries.
