ILS Project Manager II - Technical Writer 3721
Job Location: Oshkosh, WI
JOB SUMMARY
Develop or supervise logistics support subcontractor development of all ILS contract deliverables for provisioning, associated parts lists, associated support documentation, computer programs and parts catalogs. Interface with the customer to deliver, review, and sell these contract deliverables.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Completely understand and use ILS military specifications and associated computer programs.
2. Understand and implement all contract variations to the basic provisioning and parts catalog specifications and associated computer programs.
3. Obtain a complex set of source materials required for the development of all ILS deliverables from all vendors, OTC engineering, and OTC purchasing.
4. Supervise or develop all contract deliverables associated with parts lists, provisioning, and parts catalog.
5. Supervise or computer load and process all materials developed and maintain complex computer based customer program through OTC based ILS computer programs, meeting with the customer to resolve problems.
6. Maintain all data current with changes and record all change in program configuration control document.
7. Supervise and assist in the development of, and critique of all data when subcontracted.
8. Identify and cost ILS impact for all changes affecting provisioning, computer programs, computer program outputs and parts catalogs.
9. Assign work to in-house clerical help.
10.Review data against repair and overhaul manuals, drawing packages, and hardware to assure consistency of all ILS contract deliverables.
11.Must collect checklists for Quality ISO 9000 procedures for ILS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years related experience. Must be willing to travel (limited.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Good written and oral communications skills.
