Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Internal Audit and IT Controls, this position is responsible for performing Company-wide analysis of electronic accounting data, conducting internal forensic investigations, and supporting Corporate Finance and business units in Sarbanes-Oxley IT testing and compliance efforts.
Major Areas of Accountability
- Conduct operational, compliance, financial, and investigative audits, as assigned.
- Perform electronic data mining procedures at business units throughout the company to identify potential errors or irregularities.
- Assist with developing the annual, company-wide Sarbanes-Oxley compliance work plan and perform general computer controls and application controls testing.
- Maintain and support utilization of computerized audit software.
- Responsible for working with Information Technology and Financial Management to ensure adequate internal controls are in place before and after the implementation of new information technology systems and processes.
- Investigate potential information technology control weaknesses and provide recommendations for control improvements.
- Assist and train other employees in the use of computerized audit techniques and in developing methods for review and analysis of computerized information systems.
- Execute special data analysis projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Internal Audit and IT Controls and the Senior Vice President and Controller.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information Technology
- 3+ years of IT computer audit experience
- Ability to travel 15% or more of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) a
- Manufacturing experience preferred
