Job Description:
Overall experience should be a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive successful accomplishments for employer and clients.
Responsibilities:
Candidates must have excellent business consulting experience and a strong balance between business, technical and project management techniques.
Must also demonstrate the ability to implement application solutions including:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements
- Participating in determining standards and best practices
- Partnering with an implementation team
- Transferring knowledge to the clients
Required Experience and Skills:
- Extensive experience with IBM Cognos TM1 (Applix) tools including IBM Cognos TM1 Web and IBM Cognos TM1 Executive Viewer
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the Finance/Accounting area.
- Three (3) years minimum experience implementing IBM Cognos TM1
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience is required, preferably in the Finance or Accounting areas.
- Ability to travel within our client region is required.
Additional Desired Skills Include:
- Experience in full life-cycle of project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout, Implementation, and Training
- Cognos TM1 product certification a strong plus.
- Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning a plus
- Cognos Business Intelligence tool experience a plus.
- Ability to foster client relationships and working relationships with peers
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Self-starter with ability to work on projects with minimum
