Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to help them design and implement financial consolidation and reporting solutions leveraging the HFM product.
- Lead design workshops to define and understand the consolidation and financial reporting business requirements
- Create detailed project plans, timelines, task lists and design documents to manage the project
- Build the HFM application including dimensions, forms, business rules, security, etc.
- Leverage DRM to define all data mappings, validation rules and data loads
- Utilize Hyperion Financial Reports to build the required financial statements
- Provide information and recommendations around accounting practices and reporting standards including GAAP, IFRS, XBRL, SOX, etc.
- Define and recommend currency translation methods and best practices
- Communicate effectively with client executives, Finance resources and IT resources
- Train the business users on how to administer the HFM system
- Prepare the appropriate system documentation
- Position requires travel (approximately 25% to 50%)
Qualifications:
- Experience implementing and configuring the Hyperion HFM suite including: HFM, FDM, Financial Reporting and EPMA. System 9 experience is required and 11.x experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting. Complementary certifications desired as well.
- 5-10 years working experience in Accounting and Finance
- Desire to work in new environments with new people and new business challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills, capability to mitigate conflicts and find solutions, strong desire to see clients succeed.
- Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment or in a solo role.
