Job Description:
Managers desired with top leadership and sales qualities to lead branch offices in Miami, Naples, Holmes Beach and Sarasota, FL for large independent insurance agency with a 26-year success record of growth and community recognition, over 200 employee-owners and 16 branches in Florida and North Carolina. Enjoy employee ownership while developing own book of business while mentoring sales and support staff to meet growing agency business goals. Position responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, accomplishing individual sales goals and branch sales goals, while adhering to the agency's marketing philosophy. This includes identifying and cultivating new market opportunities and retention of existing accounts. Experience requirements include college education with property and casualty experience and licensing with a proven record of stability and successful track record of sales abilities, and a demonstrated history of success for team development. A A Florida 2-20 Insurance License is required and a CIC or CPCU designation is a plus. A working knowledge of Applied is preferred.
Requirements:
The primary role of the Branch Manager is to drive individual book of sales while leading support and sales staff to achieve branch-selling goals. A thorough knowledge of property and casualty insurance with a 2-20 Florida Insurance License is required. A good understanding of the total range of products and services offered by the agency with the capacity to lead and direct sales activities to maximize new business potential is expected. Excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and ability to mentor and develop staff are crucial components of this high-energy management position. Monitoring of performance appraisals in a timely and professional manner while adhering to corporate guidelines is required. Attendance at sales seminars and continuing education will be ongoing along with participation in professional and community affairs. A positive and professional image that inspires others to maintain the agency's high standards is a must for the successful candidate.
