CNC Operator - Main
Job Location: Tulsa, OK
Department:
General Manufacturing
Reports to:
Foreman
Overall Responsibility:
Operate computer-controlled machines to perform machine functions on job specified materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Level 4 Perform Level 1, 2, 3 responsibilities. Able to perform complex setups with accuracy and minimal time. Maximize tapes and run multiple machines.
Level 3 Able to perform first part buyoff prior to QC buyoff. Make suggestions for improved productions and setups. Edit tool change positions and simple programming. Operate vertical and horizontal mills.
Level 2 Able to perform simple setups such as setting x and y zero, setting tool length offsets and setting diameter offsets. Inspect simple parts.
Level 1 Turn on machine, can locate and use cycle start and cycle stop buttons. Load and unload parts consistently. Find beginning of tool in program and restart program if needed. Run production and read basic blueprint dimensions.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 100 pounds. Work involves extended periods of standing.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED a plus, but not required. Prior CNC mill experience. Ability to edit tool change positions, make setups, perform first part inspections, and knowledge of feeds and speeds.
