Description
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department(s) including all aspects of patient care, budgeting, staffing and quality assurance, including the establishment and review of program goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelor degree or actively pursuing (BSN preferred), willing to pursue Masters (MSN preferred).
Minimum Experience:
3 to 5 years experience in an acute care facility including at least 2 years experience in the specialty area is required. Management experience is required.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:
SC RN license required. CPR required within 30 days of employment; mandatory certifications for relevant department(s) within 12 months of employment.
