Pro E Designer
Job Location: Sidney, OH
Shift:
6 months + Possible Direct
Job Description:
Generates product and design ideas; creates and checks designs, assembly layouts, prototypes and drawings. Creates and analyses mechanical design solutions (components, part to part relationships & calculations). Supports development of specifications. Accomplishes data collection, problem solving and analyses. Accomplishes proper drawing /dimensional management (including appropriate use of GD&T) for components/assemblies as it relates to PPAP and Release Process.
Responsible for providing accurate input to product DFMEA and DVP&R. Tests and evaluates concepts, parts and assemblies. Responsible for tests and report integrity.
Defines and develops product, material specifications, cost estimates and bill of materials. Recommends follow up action. Develops reports and other documentation.
Collaborates with teams to provide technically correct, high value, timely solutions. Collaborates with other departments and supply chain to achieve necessary goals. Actively participates in the accomplishment of tasks.
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
Associates Degree with a major in Design discipline or equivalent, and 1-2 years of work experience.
1-2 years Engineering experience.
1-2 years of product design.
1-2 years of CAD and drafting knowledge.
1-2 years of manufacturing process knowledge.
Desired Skills:
Highly proficient with mechanical applications and product design.
Highly proficient with technical drawings and Pro/e CAD system.
Ability to utilize basic problem solving techniques.
Ability to understand program management requirements.
Compensation:
$14-18
