Manufacturing Engineer
Job Location: Dayton, OH

Job Description:
Deliver tools, equipment, processes and engineering documentation that support the operator, and enable the manufacturing system to assemble product that meet customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities;
-Create an environment that supports the operator
-Create and maintain a positive, safe, and clean work environment
-Develop and maintain process flow diagram, operator work instructions, PFMEA and RPN Reduction
-Perform periodic meetings with employees
-Develop and execute assembly tooling and fixturing, design, fab, process capability studies
-Perform assembly plant impact studies
-Assure compliance with ergonomic standards
-Ensure equipment meets all applicable industrial standards
-Identify and implement continuous improvement (cost reduction, efficiency improvement)
-Implement work space organization and visual controls
-Maintain tooling, machinery, facility documentation and prints
-Perform equipment installation (includes installation checklists)
-Support and pursue training needs to continually improve job related skills
-Manage document control process
-Validate all new and modified processes
-Support ISO 14000 and QS9000 activities
-Support and implement synchronous manufacturing activities
-Understand/review print tolerances as they relate to process capability
-Support/facilitate area and processing layouts
-Maintain flexible work schedule
-Maintain process change logs
-Ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Preferred Education and Experience:
-Bachelors Degree
-Working knowledge of QS 9000
-Good communication skills both written and oral
-Experience with high-level computer programming and documentation
-Experience low voltage electronics and 12V battery operation desirable
-Computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Auto Cad
Compensation:
58,000.00-62,000.00
