Electro-Mechanical Engineer
Job Location: Dayton, OH
Shift:
Contract to Direct
Responsibilities:
Lead product development projects to successful production launch
Follow a structured and customer focused approach to engineering - defining requirements, engineering to requirements, and incorporating best practices and technologies
Contribute to the New Product Development process to shorten lead time and reduce costs.
Be a technical liaison to customers - internal and external, build relationships and teamwork with sales, manufacturing and purchasing
Qualifications:
Three to five plus years experience in product engineering
Able to handle multiple priority projects and deliver on-time and on-budget
Self motivated and able to operate creatively and effectively in a global team environment
Ability to express ideas clearly, build on ideas of others, and inspire others through your work
Able to conduct theoretical analysis and physical test and validation protocols
Able to deliver results and have fun
Bachelors Degree or Graduate Degree in Engineering
Prefer experience in one or more of:
Thermoset and thermoplastic molding experience
Motors, solenoids, fuel injection components, coils, actuators
Engineering project management (on-time, on-budget)
Diesel fuel injection component engineering
China experience
Compensation:
based on experience
