TITLE: Behavioral Health Therapist/Music Therapist
LOCATION: east of Columbus, Ohio

If so, an opportunity to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.

Leads group discussions using therapeutic interventions.
Works one on one with patients on issues of hospitalization and dysfunction.
Assigns group activities for Mental Health Technicians.
Assess the patient needs and recommends appropriate groups.
-Provides community services including the development of programs.
-Completes documentation accurately, competently, and within specified time frames.
-Cross train as appropriate to credentials, licensure, scope of practice and department need.
-Completes assessments and groups in a timely and competent manner.
-Completes charges daily.
-Active and competent participation in various team meetings, remaining patient focused.
-Delegates tasks to the Mental Health Technicians as necessary.
-Consistently provides evening patient groups.
-Completes daily patient therapy schedule in a timely and competent manner.
-Consistently meets established department productivity expectations.
-In Partial Hospitalization Program able to function effectively as case manager and competency in completing family conferences.
Candidate must be an Ohio licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)
Skills necessary to provide mental health care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate for the age group served.
Knowledge of DSM IV diagnosis.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills to facilitate working with various multidisciplinary team members.
Reports to Therapeutic Services Manager
Day shift with weekend & holiday rotation
Will work with children, adolescents and adults
New (2015) free-standing Behavioral Health facility
The range is between 41K-57K depending on experience. It will be quoted hourly.
