Here is a summary of the position:
Responsible for the successful execution of the Quality Program. Interfaces with production to stay compliant with quality certification.
Manages the quality program and ensures the integrity of our quality system. Must understand the companies strategic plan and values and uphold it on a daily basis.
Here is some of the key duties and responsibilities:
Looking for someone to Manage AS9100 internal audit program and ensuring that internal quality systems retain required 3rd party accreditations.
Looking for someone to Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA), Corrective Action Mistake Proofing (CAMP) and work the Quality Notification (QN) Process.
Able to Implement Quality Assurance Policies throughout the Manufacturing Process, provide Oversight in Manufacturing and Documentation.
Be able to support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and activities.
Insure all new products are traceable to documented standards.
Develop Test Methods to validate products and maintain Test Equipment to acceptable aerospace industry standards.
Supports all internal and external audits.
The person will need to have a Bachelor Degree in Quality Engineering
Would need to be comfortable working in a job shop/manufacturing environment.
Needs to have 1-3 years experience in commodity/supply chain management/supplier quality.
Understanding of AS9100 Policies and Procedures
Working knowledge of PPAP and Root Cause Analysis/Corrective Action preferred
Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement (CI) with demonstrated success in implementing CI projects. Experience with Six Sigma preferred.
Working knowledge of Sheet Metal manufacturing processes and procedures.
