If so, an opportunity to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.

The referral liaison is primarily responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans to maintain and grow referrals from providers and/or physicians practices in the local market to the Healthcare System.
The person in this position executes initiatives related to increasing loyalty to and preference for the system among internal and external provider referral sources, including developing marketing collateral.
Uses appropriate sales skills to identify needs, offer appropriate solutions, overcome objections, seek closure to the referral process and provide effective follow-up to the referring physician/client.
Works closely with targeted physicians/clients to understand which services and products will be of most benefit to them.
Gather information from physicians related to their service needs and/or concerns and works with the health system representatives to fulfill needs/resolve problems.
Delivers and reinforces information and materials relative to the system and its key clinical departments and programs
Works collaboratively with service line management to formulate and continually update targeted physician lists and territory strategies.
Contributes current and relevant market intelligence to the appropriate individuals within the system for action or informational purposes.
Develops goals and timelines for closing new or enhanced physician referrals.
Develops goals and timelines for growing referral volumes based on new or established physician and outreach relationships.
Supplies written call reports, referral progress and territory summaries using CRM tool to manage.
Develops and implements marketing plans for physicians and other providers, including new physicians joining the healthcare system, existing physicians who require additional marketing, and in some instances advanced practice providers.
Creates deliverables such as provider marketing cards, business cards and letterhead in collaboration with design team.
Develops and implements public relations and advertising initiatives for physicians, including press releases to media, print advertising and social media.
Coordinates scheduling of video and photo shoots of physicians with offices and design staff, and assists in conducting physician video shoots and in production/editing of videos.
Coordinates physician speakers for community education programs and health screenings.
Assists in planning and implementation of community education programs and health screenings.
Stays abreast of scope of services within assigned service line(s) and remains knowledgeable about program and data and quality measures.
Maintains confidentiality of all patient-and-client related information in accordance with HIPPA and healthcare systems policies.
Bachelor`s degree in business, marketing, public relations or communications.
3 years of experience creating meaningful relationships to sell or promote products, services or concepts.
Experience in healthcare marketing is preferred.
This position works within the Marketing & PR Department.
The position reports to the Marketing & Media Relations Manager that has been there for several years and is great to work for.
A person with experience marketing new business start-up would be ideal.
This job is specific to marketing of new physician offices/services and the person will be developing strategies for marketing the practice(office brochures, pamphlets, press releases, media, etc)
This is not a sales position.
The position offers a salary range between 56K-78K. The facility offers excellent benefits.
