Job Description:
Must be degreed and have extensive Quality, and supervisory experience knowledge in the Aerospace industry. Good relocation package if needed.

$80-100K

Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the quality functions, personnel, related training, and deployment of Standard Practices for Service Center Repair Station(s) and Quality Assurance Department of Business/Regional Aviation Services. Position has final authority over airworthiness and quality and is responsible for facility compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
* 7-8 years of experience in quality management with 3 years progressive supervisory experience
* Bachelor degree in Business, Aviation, Engineering or related field (Degree may be offset by additional experience)
* FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
* Working knowledge of FAA and Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to maintenance programs and procedures
* Computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications

Principal Duties (Essential Functions):
Performed with administrative direction
1. Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements
2. Perform managerial responsibilities, for example, hire/fire, disciplinary actions, PMP, and professional development
3. Act as the focal point and liaison for all interactions with the FAA, for example, answer LOI, complete submittals, and ensure compliance with regulations
4. Oversee inspections of aircraft maintenance and service activities to ensure airworthiness and compliance with Repair Station manual, Quality Control manual, and regulations
5. Develop and maintain the FAA Repair Station/Quality Control Manual in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulation 145
6. Develop and administer the FAA Parts Manufacturing Approval as required by assigned site
7. Review and interpret Federal Aviation Regulations to realign current policies, procedures, and manuals as necessary
8. Develop procedures to administer company quality policy
9. Prepare department budget for fiscal year operations
10. Oversee and administer the Internal Quality Audit Program
11. Document and communicate requirements of Technician Training Program including record keeping
12. Establish and maintain quality and reliability standards by studying product and customer requirements in conjunction with management, engineers and technicians
13. Establish and maintain product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures
14. Collect, analyze, and summarize quality-related information and trends to prepare reports on product and process quality
15. Review and implement, as appropriate, current best practices within Quality field to support achievement of organizational objectives
16. Maintain current knowledge of new trends in quality including the while implementing appropriate best practices
17. Communicate with appropriate customer representatives as required, to ensure all quality issues and inquiries are satisfied. Also provide performance feedback to customers as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. Working knowledge of process improvement methodology and application (e.g., Six Sigma)
2. Working knowledge of accounting and budgeting principals necessary to read and interpret profit/loss statements, financial reports, and meet financial objectives for assigned area and programs
3. Working knowledge of current trends and best practices within Quality field
4. Thorough knowledge of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
5. Verbal and written communication skills
6. Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, organizations, and regulatory agencies
7. Business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence
8. Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management
9. Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign and coordinate workload of assigned area and employees with a multiple project setting
