Sr. Pipeline Operations Engineer

Must have engr degree. Must have DOT REG 195, Must have Liquid pipline exp.
SUMMARY
Design, maintenance and operation of company pipeline activities. General responsibilities include hydraulics, cost estimating, corrosion, and construction project management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Evaluate and respond to operational problems needing engineering solutions.
Design pipeline facilities, prepare cost estimates and manage the construction of pipeline projects.
Submit AFE's for approval for company projects.
Insure compliance with all applicable standards and regulatory agencies such as DOT, EPA, OSHA, FERC, KCC and API.
Write specifications, secure bids, purchase materials as needed for pipeline projects.
Reviews budget and expenditures to improve operating and maintenance procedures and costs where possible.
Assists in preparing annual budgets to compare costs with anticipated project operation.
Performs other duties as directed or needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
