To $105,000
Duties:
Responsible for the design and development of digital hardware designs to include Xilinx FPGA, Power PC, CPLD, audio, and peripheral products. Will use design simulation tools such as MatLab, or Xilinx tools to interface the software to the hardware. Experience with DSP design and peripherals preferred. Designs will emphasize dense packaging, low current, low cost, and producible hardware. Experience with dense PC boards using large pin count FPGA's preferred. Will develop system level architecture, generate hardware specifications, lead peer reviews, design reviews, test and validate hardware designs, etc. Must work closely with software engineers and be able to provide hardware interfaces. Will work with manufacturing and quality to ensure producibility and testability of the assembly.
Requirements:
* BSEE (Master's degree a plus), or equivalent experience;
* 5+ years of digital hardware design experience;
* Experience with FPGA, CPLD, DSP, and peripheral hardware design;
* Use of computer design tools such as MatLab, Xilinx development tools;
* Some familiarity with communications products and/or test equipment a plus;
* Experienced with communications and test equipment design preferred;
* Excellent communication skills required;
* US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required (U.S. Person Status per ITAR Regulations)
