Responsibilities:
Directs and coordinates a semi-skilled and/or complex work force in order to meet production schedules and meet required cost, quality and safety standards, while driving world class manufacturing methodologies. Maintains and manages the staffing in the department. Conducts projects/reports that have a significant influence on the production function of the organization.
1.Supervises and directs the production of equipment assembly, parts, and components, to meet production schedules that meet or exceed quality requirements of the customer.
2. Maintains equipment and manpower in department to meet productivity requirements.
3. Maintains efficiency and utilization throughout department via assigning and developing Leads to help direct manpower, address productivity, process, and quality issues where needed.
4. Checks time standards in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering to maintain appropriate standards throughout department.
5. Maintains departmental adherence to high standards of safety and housekeeping in compliance with company policies, and governmental regulations.
6. Maintains positive employee and management relations within the guidelines of company policy.
7. Directs all related personnel actions (selection, training, performance reviews, discipline, etc.) for production employees.
8. Holds regular communication and safety meetings.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
* 2 + years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
* Demonstrated ability to use a PC, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good analytical and problem solving skills.
Salary:
To 60K, 10K bonus. Company will pay relocation assistance.
