Refinery Operations Engineer
Job Location: Dallas, TX
Must have 5+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry

Responsibilities
Provide technical oversight and support to the Operations Group withrespect to all regulatory, operational and project development activities asassigned across midstream facilities. Midstream facilities include gas and liquid pipelines, pumps and compression equipment, gas and liquid measurement and gas conditioning and processing equipment. Engineer will support Operations personnel with day to day engineering support and serve as a liaison with Midstream Engineering Group in all aspects of midstream operation activities.
• Perform all aspects of project development, engineering and managementincluding but not limited to:
Scoping
Basic economic evaluations
Facility & Equipment sizing
Cost estimatingv Procurement
Contract evaluation (construction and commercial)
Generation of AFEs
Project management and construction
Requirements
• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 5-10 years oil and gas industry experience
• Strong knowledge of pipeline, plants, related production equipment,measurement and field operations.
• Experience with pipeline hydraulics and plant simulation (AdvanticaStoner,ProMax)
• Working knowledge of Pipeline Integrity Regulations, DOT & LouisianaDNR Minimum Pipeline Safety Rules (49CFR Parts 192 & 195), ASMEB31.8, B31.4 & B31.3 piping codes and OSHA PSM regulations.
