Refinery Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Provide technical oversight and support with respect to all regulatory, operational and commercial activities as assigned across all midstream facilities, including gas pipeline, compression and dehydration activities (if applicable, may include some gas processing and treating). Engineer will be responsible for a specific area and will assist Gas Buyers in all aspects of gas supply activities.
• Perform all aspects of project engineering and management including but not limited to:
Scoping
Basic economic evaluations
Equipment sizing
Cost estimating
Procurement
Contract evaluation (construction and commercial)v Generation of AFEs
Project management and construction
Requirements
• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 5-10 years oil and gas industry experience
• Strong knowledge of pipeline, plants, related production equipment, measurement and field operations.
• Experience with pipeline hydraulics and plant simulation (AdvanticaStoner, ProMax)
• Working knowledge of Pipeline Integrity Regulations, TRRC Minimum Pipeline Safety Rules and PSM
