Salary: To $85,000
Description:
· Provide marketing, proposal and business development services for drilling, geotechnical engineering and materials testing service areas.
· Supervise, direct and coordinate geotechnical engineering workload and staffing levels for a multi-disciplinary staff of engineers, drillers and technicians.
· Provide technical oversight and senior level QA/QC on geotechnical engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
· Secure, coordinate, implement and deliver geotechnical projects.
· Provide mentoring, skill development and oversight of staff level geotechnical engineers
· Prepare geotechnical reports to include subsurface logs, geologic profiles, location plans, site maps and engineering recommendations.
· Supervise and perform laboratory or field-testing on samples gathered during project operations.
· Prepare client invoices.
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geologic Engineering
· Experience in the design of shallow foundation systems, deep foundation systems (driven piles, augered cast-in-place piles, drilled shafts), Geopier foundation systems, ground improvement techniques, slope stability analysis and geotextiles.
· Current Professional Engineering License with ability for Kansas licensure within 3 months required.
· A minimum of 10 years experience working in a geotechnical engineering environment.
· At least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
· Strong financial and business management.
