Mechanical Systems Engineer
Job Location: Wichita, KS - Company will pay full relocation

To $110,000
Description:
As part of a team of engineers, supply expertise in Flight Control Systems/Door Systems/Wheels/Tires/Brakes systems to support the troubleshooting, design, development, and certification of Flight Control Systems/Door Systems/Wheels/Tires/Brakes components on Learjet Aircraft. Coordination with component/system suppliers on existing designs and new design development; prepare certification documentation, Certification Plans, Design Compliance Reports, etc; Prepare component level and aircraft level test plans and provide analysis of results; Support production/fielded/experimental aircraft by participating in troubleshooting efforts, giving guidance/recommendations toward design solutions/repairs and return to service procedures while fully understanding criticality of safety.
Duties:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related disciplines; a minimum of 10 years experience in mechanical systems design and integration; The successful candidate will be a Systems and Equipment (Mechanical Equipment) DER with approval authority in the following authorized Flight Control Systems/Door Systems/Wheels/Tires/Brakes.
CFR-Part 25 experience preferred.
