Description:
This position is responsible for providing general SQL Server database administration, performance tuning, and database security. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: installation, upgrade, and maintenance of SQL Server database; planning and execution of database backup and recovery; database tuning for performance and stability; database security implementation and monitoring.
Required:
- 4+ years SQL Server DBA skills in a Windows environment
- Experience with Server 2005 & Server 2008
- One or more of the following certifications:
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional – MCITP: Database Administrator
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist – MCTS: SQL Server
- Microsoft Certified Master – MCM: Microsoft SQL Server
