Job Overview
The Raleigh Design Center is offering an Electrical Hardware Engineering Internship/Co-op for the Fall of 2008.
Get hands-on electronic product development experience with the support of a team of talented engineers and leaders.
Design tasks may include:
* Analog and Digital Circuit Design
* PLD/FPGA Design
* Schematic Capture
* Scripting
* Lab Debug and Verification
Responsibilities
* Provide direct engineering support to cross-functional product development team. Products may be marketed in medical, defense, or networking industry.
* Apply sound engineering principles to a variety of design activities.
* Learn effective, established product development processes.
* Develop new hardware design skills and/or enhance existing skills.
Qualifications
* **All candidates must have legal authorization to permanently live and work in the United States without visa or employer sponsorship***
* Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program, majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science at an accredited college or university.
* Planned degree completion date between June 2009 and December 2009.
* Overall GPA of 3.2/4.0 or higher
* Available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during fall.
Students that have completed a solid base of engineering coursework and have a strong interest in embedded systems design will be best suited for this hands-on engineering opportunity.
