Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Performs new construction and remodel of areas that may include framing walls, hanging doors, painting, installation of carpet, doors, electrical, plumbing, etc
- Monitors and performs preventative maintenance in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, etc.
- Installs and repairs machines and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufactures specifications.
- Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot, reports issues and repairs in a timely manner.
- Supports a safety first environment, reports equipment malfunctions, orders services as needed
- Provides assistance in responding to fire alarms and other codes.
- Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Performs functions that may affect a population newborn through geriatric.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: - Knowledge of general maintenance repairs, tools, etc
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Several years general maintenance experience in a medical center or plant environment
