Imagine yourself traveling the state of AK servicing school aged children in small towns and bush environments, communicating with native tribal communities, and providing therapy to children who would otherwise go without. Our client seeks a Physical Therapist who could thrive in this type of environment. The weather is sometimes very harsh, but the people you meet will warm your heart and leave an impression on you like no one else can. The Physical Therapist would work between 40 and 80 days- about 3-week stints, 4 times throughout the year. We`re looking for educational experience, but not a specific amount of years. Living in Alaska and flying into the Juneau area 4 times a year is ideal, but lower 48 state candidates will be considered, the further west you live, the better!If you`ve got good communication skills, like to travel, can adapt to new situations easily, and have a few years of PT experience under your belt, then apply today! Client pays day rate and all travel expenses are paid, benefits are also available through the state. You`ll have the flexibility of making your own schedule as well as designated travel days and in home office days. You can be based anywhere in AK with jet service, but Juneau or Anchorage is preferred.
