Job Description:
Pediatric, Physical Therapist Assistant
A Physical Therapist long term substitute is needed for the time period of 12/11/09 to 6/9/10 at a school system in a suburb of the twin cities. The job entails providing physical therapy direct & indirect services to students of varying ages; monitoring IEP/IFSP progress student goals & objectives; evaluating motor skills of students referred for testing; communicating and collaboratint with educational staff and families.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
MN licensure in the state of MN as a Physical Therapist
Experience working with students with disabilities and familiarity with evaluation tools and assistive technology.
Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
Working Conditions:
Classroom, office, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, keyboarding, sitting, etc.
Need reliable transportation to provide services at various sites.
