The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for administration of physical therapy treatment and programs as planned and directed by a licensed Physical Therapist. Inpatient setting includes weekends...
1. Executes treatment programs safely and effectively to achieve set goals.
2. Documents patient treatment regularly and accurately.
3. Discusses and coordinates discharge plans with supervising therapist.
4. Demonstrates effective communication and organizational skills, and evidence of professional development.
5. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Skills/Requirements:
Current license as a physical therapist assistant, and an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program. Current CPR certification. Minimum of 1 year experience preferred; however, a new graduate could assume the position.
Qualifications:
Must hold an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy and a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
