School Based Occupational Therapist - OT

Job Location: Stamford, CT

EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS...

We are searching for an Occupational Therapist to work in a school based setting with one of our favorite private practices in Connecticut. This client offers pediatric school-based and outpatient clinic therapy services in a beautiful upscale community. This is a full time, permanent placement position, although contract therapists will also be considered. The population will range from mildly to moderately impaired students and include some kids with CP, Downs, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Year-round work will be available if desired. You will be scheduled for 10 months of school-based therapy, and have the option to work over the summer in a variety of settings including summer school, clinic, and possibly some adult populations -- at your option. Hourly pay rate will depend on your relevant experience and qualifications. Some relocation allowance may be available. You'll have full benefits, and these will extend over the summer months even if you decide to take them off. Salary $50,000 - $62,000/year. Hourly contract rates - $30 - $40 plus benefits. Housing may be provided for therapist interested in contract position through the end of the 07/08 school year.

Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
