School Based Physical Therapist - PT

EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS...
Our client is a private pediatric practice located just outside of Ithaca, NY. They have a need for a Physical Therapist to work in a school setting, with kids from 3-21. Early Intervention and adult skilled nursing coverage is also available, if the therapist is interested in picking up additional hours. This is a full time position that will start as a contract position, then assuming there is a good fit, the possibility to go on staff will be presented (contract to perm). The caseload averages from 30-40 students, and the most common diagnoses include Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Developmental Delay, and ADHD with varying levels of severity. Some travel between school sites will be required. Therapist will schedule his/her own caseload and an inclusion model is preferred. Hourly pay rates range from $30 - $40, depending on the experience level of the therapist. The position begins in September, 2008.
Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
