School Based Occupational Therapist - OT

If you enjoy working with children and sensory integration you'll love this job. Our client is a successful non-profit school and therapy center for ages 3 to 21 with special needs. They focus on the use of sensory integration as the primary therapeutic approach. 90% of the population has a diagnosis on the autism spectrum. A few have CP. Most have behavioral issues. You'll work in a collaborative environment with speech therapists, music therapists, and other professionals.
There are two openings, one in the school, and one in the extended services clinic where you'll see kids on an outpatient basis. Your schedule will include the traditional school year, plus an additional 37 days of summer program. Hourly rates from $35/hr to $41/hr based on experience. If you prefer, direct employment is available instead of contract.
Qualifications: Must have an Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current state license (or eligible).
