School Based Occupational Therapist Assistant - COTA

EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS...
This assignment is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work the 2008-2009 school year for a Chicago area school---Hours are full time days M-F. The majority of the work is mainstream diagnoses, but both buildings you'd be working in have self contained district programs. You'll have the opportunity to work with some children that have sensory issues and need to build self-help skills. Most students are considered "mildly disabled" with diagnoses ranging from developmentally delayed, Downs Syndrome, Autism and others. Hourly rates range from $25-mid 30s depending on experience.
Excellent hourly rates and Per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility; benefits include: medical insurance; 401K; relocation assistance; optional paid sick leave; reimbursement for state licensure, renewal fees, and/or teacher certifications (if it applies to assignment); and completion bonus.

Qualifications: Must have an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
Salary/Wage: $25+ based on experience.
