Title: Audit Manager Reports To: Partner Salary: DOE Position: Full-Time, Temp to Hire Job Summary: Tulsa accounting firm is looking for a Full-Time Audit Manager. The Audit Manager works with other professionals in the department and the firms shareholders on audit related projects; including managing multiple audit and review engagements ensuring engagements are performed in accordance with professional standards and the firms policies and procedures; maintaining proficiency in the use of electronic publications, paperless audit programs and auditing software; and supervising, mentoring, motivating and training department staff. As a manager, you will assist in the development of team members by providing leadership, training, guidance and direction. Duties and Responsibilities: -
Prepare engagement plans and budgets -
Supervise and participate in field audit work -
Prepare or review client financial statements -
Prepare management letters -
Produce and review work papers -
Work with and advise clients on accounting standards and procedures -
Schedule and supervise staff on engagements -
Motivate, train, and develop audit staff and identify technical training and development needs -
Additional tasks as needed Experience: -
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting -
CPA Certification -
3 to 5 years of audit experience in public accounting, with emphasis in governmental and nonprofit a plus. Supervisor Requirements: The professional hired will be responsible for the direct supervision of any staff. Knowledge and Abilities: -
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision. -
