Job Summary:
Tulsa organization is looking to hire a Full-Time, Temporary Quality Assurance Analyst. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for developing and enforcing the Quality Test strategy and methodology for the IT organization to ensure the delivery of quality software applications that deliver on the business need. This position is also responsible for developing and executing formal test plans, defining and tracking key quality assurance metrics, and performing quality audits across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed. This position works on multiple large, complex projects with greater impact to the enterprise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver Quality Test Strategies to include quality processes, methodologies, and templates to be used to test multiple categories of IT projects.
Provides training to technical staff and acts as internal quality control to advise or influence business or technical partners.
Performs quality audits across the various IT functions.
Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs.
Leads the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs.
Works closely with the end users, business technologists, and others to understand business goals and information needs; manages the process of developing resulting system test requirements.
Determines project quality test approach, manages project quality test activity; determines work priorities; and defines project quality test objectives.
Develops test plans based on project requirements and deliverables, writes test cases/scripts, develops test case automation and performs test execution.
Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
Documents all problems and assists in their resolution.
Additional tasks as assigned.

Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus
7-10 years of experience in IT Quality Assurance, including 3 years of experience in information technology OR 13-16 years related business experience
Prior experience in financial services industry preferred
SCTP preference
Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and tools.
Test plan development and execution, scope planning, schedule development, cost estimating, budgeting, and control, quality planning assurance, organization planning, communications planning, risk identification and risk response control.
Software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and development management.
Knowledge of utilizing business applications for competitive advantage.
Understanding of business needs
Knowledge of analysis, design, and implementation experience with technologies.
Exception verbal and written communication skills
Technical proficiency in hardware and system software.
Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels

Supervisor Requirements:
The professional hired will be responsible for the direct supervision of any staff.
Supervises and manages project resources to include staff and budgets.
Knowledge and Abilities:

Ability to develop and deliver projects using leading-edge technology
Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Ability to handle and resolve challenging problems.
