Job Description
The Data Anaytics Engineer will provide data analytics and modeling solutions for Qbase clients. The employee will contribute expertise and provide practical applications in statistical analysis and modeling techniques as Qbase develops solutions unique to our value proposition. As a key Qbase analytics team member, employee will participate in a variety of customer interactions, work with raw data, perform ETL functions, use various analytical tools while producing useful work product.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret raw analytics into understandable and actionable findings for Qbase clients
- Use data mining and analysis techniques, including segmentation, clustering, scoring, and modeling
Knowledge and skills:
- Ability to interpret and convey the value of Qbase analytic services and products
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education and work experience:
- Bacheleor's degree in applied math or computer science with a concentration in mathematics
- 1+ years experience with ETL process and tools (SSIS a plus)
- Experience with SPSS or SAS
- Experience with MS-SQL or other relational databases
- Experience with MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access
