Job Description
The analytics report writer will be a member of the data analytics team and will be responsible for creating and publishing complete and thorough analytics assessment reports to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Write data analysis results in report format for presentation to customer. The report is a culmination of a thorough and complete analysis of data supplied by customer
- Perform and assist the data analytics engineering team with analysis activities and tasks
- Work with subject matter experts and data analytics team to understand customer supplied data for presentation of significant information to customer
- Develop strong working relationship with business units and analytics team members to facilitate the distribution of information to customer
Knowledge and skills:
- Able to assimilate and convey analytic results in a concise and effective manner
- Experience compiling and writing reports
- Strong Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical groups
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Education and work experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related technical field
- 2-4 years demonstrated experience in the area of report or technical writing
- Experience with analytic packages such as SAS, SPSS, excel
- Experience with a wide range of word processing, desktop publishing, authoring packages, utilities and tools such as MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, Visio
