Job Description:
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT INTERN
This position provides administrative support to the existing Administrative Services Department. Specific projects could include but are not limited to: managing the front desk, meeting planning and follow-through, and other projects and administrative tasks as needed to support the goals of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide front desk support; greeting visitors, scheduling conference rooms, answering phones
- Coordinate & schedule appointments and maintain calendar of executives
- Establish and maintain records and files
- Help to establish and maintain a system to track budgets, expenses, vacation, etc. as required and in compliance with company standard process
- Prepare expense reports
- Arrange business travel
- Provide standardized, detailed itinerary before any offsite meeting
- Occasionally take and transcribe minutes of meetings
- Open, sort and distribute incoming mail
- Transcribe business cards
- Facilitate maintenance coordination
Knowledge and skills:
- Ability to manage projects with minimal direction and supervision
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Keen attention to detail, ensure quality of all assignments
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Customer and client service skills
Requirements:
University Affiliations: Wittenberg University, University of Dayton, Cedarville University, Central State, Clark State Community College, Wright State University, Sinclair Community College.
Status: Preferred candidate will be in the start of their senior year with minimum GPA of 3.0. Sophomores of two year colleges will be considered.
Residency: All residencies accepted. Ohio state residents preferred.
Major: All majors are accepted.
