Job Description:
Quality Attributes Software (QAS) is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to benefit QAS’ Product Development efforts. This position would focus on scheduling, resource management, forecasting, and translating the CTO’s vision and roadmap into tangible results.

Customers include local and national government entities, military, major universities, and large corporations. We have created various products including the first PaaS (Platform as a Service) for control system data management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translating the CTO’s vision and roadmap into tangible results
- Working with product management, develop specifications for proposed applications
- Developing Gantt Charts with clearly detailed tasks which developers can be assigned and have minimal questions
- Managing/Recommending various logistical tools to improve documentation, coordination, training, transparency, quality, etc.
- Working with a team of 10+ developers
- Resource scheduling/management
- Project planning/forecasting
- Setting expectations for completion dates, and perform accordingly
- Tracking productivity of team members
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of professional programming experience
- Experience developing and/or maintaining an API
- At least 5 years of management experience with a software team of more than 5
- Degree in computer science or technical discipline
OTHER USEFUL SKILLS:
- Abstract thinker
- Programming experience with .NET, SQL, Flex, Java, or similar languages
- Software as a Service (SaaS) development experience
- Code review
- Agile Methodology
- Experience creating/using Business Intelligence systems
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience working with short-term deadlines with little supervision

COMPENSATION:
This is a full time salary position with an expected 40 hours per week. Starting salary will be determined upon experience.
