Lead Aircraft Mechanic / C208-07- 8095
Job Location: Kirkuk, Iraq
Job Summary:
Requires ability to function as a working supervisor, directing as well as performing aircraft maintenance on a fleet of Cessna 208B aircraft.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
preflight and post flight inspections; flight crew debriefings; scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Requires interfacing with Operations personnel, reporting aircraft availability status as affected by maintenance activities, to be scheduled with a minimum of aircraft down time.
Requires an FAA A&P license -- I.A. is preferred -- with a minimum of seven (7) years recent aircraft maintenance experience on C-208C Caravan or similar aircraft.
The person selected must successfully pass a thorough medical review and screening, background investigation, drug testing and pre-deployment training. With the position located in Kirkuk, Iraq, the incumbent may be subject to austere field living conditions with coalition forces.
This position requires long work hours to support a high tempo operation under difficult conditions. US citizenship is required. May be required to qualify for a DOD security clearance.
