Aircraft Worker / EMI 2008-001-002
Job Location: Miami, FL
Description:
The incumbent must be capable of performing scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. Duties include the inspection and corrosion control of airframe and power plant assemblies and properly maintaining aircraft records and logs.
Requires three (3) years aircraft mechanic experience, with at least one (1) year of flight line troubleshooting. Must have a working knowledge of repairing and maintaining airframes, hydraulics, fuel systems and aircraft engines. Cessna C550, D8-200/300, AW139, and AS350 B2/3 experience desired; military experience recognized.
Requires a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate. Must be able to obtain a passport, visa and Government security clearance to support deployments, both domestic and foreign. Must be able to work well with others or independently, be able to perform climbing, stooping, stretching operations and to lift up to 50 pounds. Must possess sufficient computer knowledge is to document maintenance actions. Must be able to clearly communicate in English and deal courteously and professionally with the internal and external customers.
NOTE:
This is a 24 X 7 operation requiring weekend/Holiday/shift work as well as the commitment to TDY deployments.
