Aircraft Mechanic / MarfaTX-2008-001
Job Location: Marfa, TX
Description:
Requires a minimum of five (5) years recent experience on civilian fixed wing (C-206/PA-18 preferred) and/or military rotor wing (OH-6/UH-1H preferred) aircraft. FAA A&P certification required. FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus.
Duties include:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all systems of assigned aircraft, launch and recover aircraft and perform flight line maintenance and servicing. Position may require shift and weekend work, as well as possible overtime. Successful applicant may be required to travel periodically in support of customer’s mission.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
Analytical ability, positive attitude, ability to work well with others, and a physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Position will require use of electronic maintenance data entry time-keeping systems, so computer literacy will be required. Employment is dependent on successful background checks and drug screen.
