Aircraft Mechanic / ELC-2008-05
Job Location: El Centro, CA
Job Description:
FAA A&P Certificate required. The qualified applicant will have recent experience on civil and/or military aircraft. Prefer strong experience on rotary wing aircraft. American Eurocopter rotary wing experience a plus. Duties include: conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all systems of assigned aircraft, launch and recover aircraft and perform flight line maintenance and servicing. Position will require shift work and weekend work, as well as possible overtime. Must own/provide common SAE and METRIC tools. Successful applicant may be required to travel periodically and or extensively in support of customer’s mission.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required: analytical ability, positive attitude, ability to work well with others, and a physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Position will require use of an electronic maintenance data entry system, so some computer literacy desired. Employment is dependent on successful completion of background checks and drug screen.
Area Wage Determination (AWD) rate of pay for this position is $22.48 per hour.
