Our Systems Field Support Division in Rockwall, Texas has immediate openings in our Business Development Group for a Director Business Development - US Navy Support Services.
The Director Navy Business Development will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall US Navy support services market strategy. The Director will be responsible for growing the Division aviation and technical services business base.
The position requires experience developing, executing and guiding strategic and tactical strategies to capture US Navy new business. The candidate must possess customer relationships with Navy sustainment and logistics support program offices and key personnel. This includes in-depth understanding of customer acquisition methods, decision making and funding/budget processes.
The position requires ability and experience identifying, qualifying, and positioning the Division to secure new sustainment, support and logistics business opportunities. Experience implementing new business capture process, methods and techniques are required. This includes ability and experience to perform and oversee the development of customer and competitive analysis in support of Navy business and marketing strategies.
The position requires coordinating and working with cross-functional teams involved in the development of business/market strategies. The position requires strong communication skills to advise team members and senior management on status and/or actions required in connection with strategic plans as well as tactical strategies to support new business opportunities.
Requirements:
5 - 8 years directly related experience in strategic and tactical development as well as marketing to the US military. Business analytical skills with proficiency in the use of PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft business applications, are highly desirable. Ability to develop and deliver formal presentations to customer decision makers and internal Senior Management - required. Ability to travel 50%.
