Job Description:
Individual will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft, egress and canopy fracturing systems and components on a small fleet of Hawker Beechcraft T-6A aircraft to ensure compliance with prescribed maintenance requirements, manufacturer’s specifications, and system performance standards for both operational and intermediate level maintenance. Will also perform maintenance on survival equipment and other aircraft systems as required.
Candidate must have a FAA A&P license with a minimum of four (4) years of recent egress experience, preferably on a T-6A or similar aircraft. Typing skills and Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
Position may require periodic CONUS/OCONUS travel, shift-work in addition to weekend/holiday work. Must possess analytical ability, have a positive attitude, be a self-starter and work well with others. Have the physical ability to lift/handle 50 lbs and perform climbing/stooping as related to the job. Candidate is subject to thorough medical review and screening, background investigation, drug testing and pre-deployment training. Position is in Tikrit, Iraq - individual may be subject to austere field living conditions with coalition forces. This requires long work hours to support a high tempo operation under difficult conditions. US citizenship and passport required. May be required to qualify for a DOD security clearance.
