Job Description:
Selected candidate will compile and review budgets for corporate or organizational units using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration. Prepares financial plans, monitors implementation of financial policies, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, establishes cost rates and personnel forecasts, recommends and interprets budgetary policies and procedures, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget.
Selected candidate will plan, direct and control all business unit or function operations. Within the corporation, serves as a principal spokesperson for the business unit or function on highly significant matters.
Selected candidate is also responsible for overhead and G&A rate preparation and negotiation of forward pricing agreements, as well as, tracking of actual versus budgeted rates. Position is also responsible for Government and SOX compliance for the SFS division.
Position Requirements:
Requires a BBA or related degree with twelve years of related experience in an aerospace and defense environment. An MBA is highly desired.
