Job Description:
L-3 Communications Integrated Systems, a recognized leader in aircraft modification, maintenance, and special mission system integration, offers challenging and rewarding assignments across a broad spectrum of aircraft programs. The System Field Support Division provides maintenance and logistic services to government and military customers. The division has operations in over 300 locations around the world.
Position Description:
Individual will have overall responsibility for Financial Planning and Analysis for the Systems Field Support (SFS)Division of L-3 Integrated Systems, including forecast consolidation of all businesses & subsidiaries within the Division. Duties include leading the development of the Systems Field Support Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly NY Reviews, and Monthly Division Reviews. Individual will be responsible for supervision of the development of the monthly short-term forecast which includes Orders, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cashflows as well as IR&D, B&P, and Capital Spending. Individual will be responsible for monthly short-term forecast reviews with Division CFO, as well as a review of actual results versus forecasted and planned values. Individual must have strong computer, organizational, communication and presentation skills and be able to multi-task.
Requirements:
This position will report to the CFO of Systems Field Support Division. It requires experience in the Defense Contracting Industry, as well as senior level experience in Financial Planning & Analysis roles preferably for large public companies. A CPA is preferred but not required. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required with Masters/MBA desired. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of related experience.
